Life goes on is a tender story of the down and out related by Momo, and young Arab child, who lives in Madame Rosa's hostal, and old Jewish retired prostitute, a survivor of Auschwitz, who takes in orphans in a suburb of Paris. The story describes a sordid human mosaic, in which Momo learns about the vital things of life he needs in order to survive. Although he is young, he shows with his thoughts that he is against racisme, and he reflects upon growing old, being alone, and euthanasia.
